Visit the Negombo fish market. The Negombo Fish Market is the second largest fish market in the island. The local people call it Lellama. High numbers of people reach here for seeing, purchasing, and selling the fish taken from the deep sea by the local fishermen wearing variety of coloured clothes. This is one place that people can see heap of fish in many varieties at one place which may be amazing sights for many people local and foreign. Set on a boat trip in the lagoon with a local fisherman to explore the fishing islands and many varieties of birds (Responsible tourism initiative). Local community harvest fish and prawns in the lagoon as their livelihood. Our guide will take you to an island to see the local fishing culture of the islanders. Enjoy a full day jeep safari to the Wilpattu national park to spot the elusive Leopard, Sloth bear and other wild animals roaming freely in their natural habitat. Picnic meals and water will be provided. You will be staying at Backwaters Lodge, an Eco Lodge located close to the Wilpattu national park.

Set on a sightseeing tour in the city of Anuradhapura to explore the ancient temples and ruins of the past capital of the island. Hike to the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress. Visit the Dambulla cave temple. This temple was built in the 1st century B.C and is a world heritage site. Explore the various markets in Kandy with a lady guide. Pick and choose your own vegetables to be cooked for lunch. Participate in a cooking session with the lady guide. Cut and chop vegetables, grating coconuts and adding of various spices to the dishes are the things that you will be doing with your host. Enjoy your home cooked meal with the local family. Visit the sacred Temple of Tooth which is one of the most venerated places of worship for the Buddhists in the country. Set on an excursion to a remote village by the foothills of the Knuckles mountain range. Enjoy a walk which goes through pine forests, tea estates, gushing streams and terraced rice fields. Interact with the villagers and enjoy an authentic local meal. You will have plenty of leisure time during these days to relax. You will be staying at Villa Rosa, a small boutique hotel located close to the Kandy city center.

Enjoy a tuk tuk safari to explore the city of Colombo. You will be visiting the most must see places in the commercial capital of the island. Stop at various street food kiosks and enjoy the delicious street food of Colombo. Independence square, Town hall, Galle face, Buddhist temples, Christian churches, Mosques, Kovils, Town hall are some of the places that you will be visiting during this tour. You will be staying at Taru lake Lodge, a small boutique hotel located in the heart of Colombo.

Transfer to the Airport. Flight to Maldives. Speed boat transfer to the hotel. You will have plenty of leisure time during these days to enjoy the sun and the sand and relax by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. You can take part in snorkeling, diving or various other water sporting activities during your leisure time. You will be staying at Vakarufalhi Island Resort, set amidst white sandy beaches and tucked away in a remote corner of the South Ari Atoll.
